Questions about the Covid-19 Vaccine?

Does your practice currently have the Covid-19 vaccine available?

Not at this time. We have been approved by the State as a vaccination site for the State of South Dakota. We anticipate having our vaccine supply within the next few weeks.

When can I expect to receive my first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine?

We are partnering with the state government to administer the Covid-19 vaccine as it becomes available to the general public, following the CDC priority schedule. We do not have start date currrently but expect to start vaccinating patients as soon as our supply becomes available. If you would like to be placed on our waiting list, please contact our office and we will notify you when the vaccine is available!

What is the Vaccine Phase Schedule?

The CDC has created a public health priority schedule ensure highest risk patients are inoculated first. Our state is in Phase 1D. This Includes South Dakotans over the age of 65 starting with age >80 and lowering age in the coming weeks, those with chronic medical conditions, and high risk patients. Please visit for more information regarding phases.

How will I know when it is my turn to receive the vaccine?

We encourage you to occasionally check our website for up-to-date info on our vaccination campaign. Keep in mind, you may receive a text message or call from our staff inviting you to schedule an appointment for your dose at our clinic. You can also be placed on our waiting list we have started.

Do I still need to get vaccinated if I have already had and recovered from Covid-19?

Yes, the CDC recommends that you should be offered the vaccine even after infection. However, you should wait until the illness has resolved and you have met the criteria to discontinue isolation.

Does my doctor recommend the COVID-19 Vaccine?

Yes, our physicians strongly urge patients to receive the Covid-19 vaccine. Tell your vaccination provider about all your medical conditions, including if you have any allergies, have a fever, have received antibody therapy, are immunocompromised or are on a medicine that affects your immune system, are pregnant or plan to become pregnant, are breastfeeding, have received another COVID-19 vaccine.
